Devlog Update #1


Welcome to the latest update on House on the Hill!

We’re excited to share that development is moving quickly, and we’ve made significant progress. We’ve now completed the first pass on the environment, which you can see in the photos below, and we’re thrilled to announce that we also have a prototype version of the game up and running!

Current Features:

  • Interactive Doors: Players can physically open and close doors, adding to the immersion.
  • Anxiety System: A dynamic system that reacts to the player's environment and light exposure, affecting gameplay.
  • Hunger System: The player must manage their hunger alongside other survival elements.
  • Firewood Gathering: Players can collect firewood as a resource for survival.
  • Fireplace Mechanics: Firewood can be thrown into the fireplace to maintain warmth.
  • Temperature System: A realistic temperature mechanic that influences the player's need for warmth and survival.

Everything shown is WIP and considered a prototype
